Rev. Evan Coleman

As the Spiritual Leader of  Unity Lincoln, I want to share a little about myself and invite you to our services, classes, and events. Before full-time ministry, I worked in Information Technology.

I am passionate about the message of Unity and the community of love here at Unity Lincoln.

1. We are all God in expression.
2. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.
3. God cannot fail. We cannot fail God; thus, we cannot fail.
4. God lives and grows through us as life and love in us. (God – the Universe is expanding.)
5. There are Divine Laws that we do not know or comprehend yet.
6. I invite others to look at things differently and break out of the mundane.

All six focus on expanding people’s awareness of the Spirit and awareness of their God-Self. My mission is to create an environment where people can discover and fulfill their highest purpose.

My mission statement is: to promote, encourage and grow prosperity, creativity, and successful relationships in Spiritual Community.

My definition of ministry is service to God and people, creative enterprise aimed at enlightenment, and modeling a Spirit-led life.

A quote that I love is: “And what is it to work with love?” Gibran asks, “It is to weave the cloth with threads drawn from your heart, even as if your beloved were to wear that cloth. It is to build a house with affection, even as if your beloved were to dwell in that house. It is to sow seeds with tenderness and reap the harvest with joy, even as if your beloved were to eat the fruit. It is to charge all things you fashion with a breath of your own spirit, And to know that all the blessed dead are standing about you and watching.”  (Kahlil Gibran. On Work.)
